This page was created to acknowledge the generosity and contributions
made by whomever takes interest in supporting MTB-Amputee.
Although mtb-amputee was created and originally funded by Victor
Walther, it would not exist without the support and contributions made by
Gary & Sandra MacKenzie. The Mackenzie's played a vital role in the creation of this
site by providing technical advice, data entry services, as well as the
general use of their computer equipment, free of charge.
MTB-Amputee would also like to thank Brodie
Bikes for their support. Brodie has provided a 2004 Hurricane full
suspension bike for demonstration purposes on the Bike
Modifications page.
Now, due to a tremendous response from both amputees and the general
public, MTB-Amputee is in desperate need of sponsorship funding in order
to maintain, expand, and promote the free information and services
that it provides. Eventually, as well as expanding the data base,
mtb-amputee would like to support competitive amputee mountain bikers as
well as provide instructional clinics for novice and first time riders.
As MTB-Amputee receives sponsors, the appearance and nature of this
page will go through several transformations to reflect the generosity and
contributions made by its supporters.
In return for their generosity and support, sponsors would be
acknowledged and receive banners and links on every MTB-Amputee webpage.
Additionally, due to the high profile of the athletes involved with
MTB-Amputee, sponsors would have the potential to receive mainstream and cycling
media exposure through corporate logos displayed on clothing, event &
race site tents, and tradeshow displays. Naturally, sponsors would be
listed according to the size and nature of their contribution.
If you or your company, business, or organization would like to get
involved with mtb-amputee, or would like more information, please contact
Victor through Webstats And Contact or by email. mtb-amputee@mtb-amputee.com
